It was touch and go as to whether I was even home in time for Christmas morning the year before, having only had my baby on December 19 and having to stay in hospital for 4 days post C-section.
I wanted this year to be much more festive in our lead up to Christmas.
I got the printed numbers from an online tutorial whose details I don’t have now, but you can Google to find something similar.
Each bag had either a chocolate Santa, a Candy Cane or a little note inside. The notes said things such as “Tonight we will go to Carol Singing” or “Tomorrow we will bake Christmas Cookies”. Miss T got excited to do the “Adent Calendar” each evening and it was so fun to see her get enthusiastic about the countdown to the big day.
The pegs I had from market & Gift Fair set ups and I also had the twine. The paper bags on the other hand were a mission to find. Ideally I would have liked some cute little printed ones with a nice Chevron or Striped pattern on them but I was pushed for time for them to arrive and I really didn’t want to spend much money on this wee project.
