They say a change is as good as a holiday and that’s especially true when it comes to redecorating spaces in your home. Ideally I want to repaint all our bedrooms and freshen them up with bright white walls, but due to budget constraints and time constraints right now too, I’ve settled for quick bed linen updates on the kids rooms.
My boys share bunks and when it was my daughter and biggest boy sharing a room, it was a little tricky to coordinate their bedding to create a cohesive looking space. But thanks to the new Living & Co Kids range at The Warehouse, I’ve been able to refresh their room without breaking the bank and have given them a look that they both love, while appealing also to my sense of style. Check out my bedroom re-do with Living & Co Kids.
And since I couldn’t let my daughter miss out on a new look, I’ve given her a bright fun printed duvet cover and new icecream pillow to snuggle each night as she slips into dreamland. Each cover is reversible and comes in a set with the pillowcase. There are coordinating accessories ranging from snuggle blankets to lanterns to hang, to cushions for extra decoration. You can add whatever you like to create your perfect kids room.
Why don’t you head in store to your local TWH this school holidays and spend a day redecorating your own kids room. It’s a super affordable range and there are options for every personality. I’ve gone monochrome and superhero for the boys because, well superheroes! And pretty and bright for my big girl because mainly I wanted to coordinate anything I could with that lickable cushion. There’s plush throws that we’ve put at the end of each of their beds for extra Wintery warmth and they make perfect TV watching blankies for the win!
That’s two days of school holiday activity sorted – 1. Choosing bedding and either ordering online for delivery or heading in store to purchase and 2. Decorating rooms together for some ultimate bonding time.
