Find me a kid that doesn’t love yoghurt and I’ll pay you a million bucks! For some reason, yoghurt and little ones go together like, well, ham and cheese, jelly and icecream, peas and carrots.
But letting little ones loose with yoghurt is not my favourite pastime, it’s usually a very messy outcome, those little pottles never fit into lunchboxes, they are a disaster in small children’s hands and well, they seem to get more yoghurt on their clothes and the table than into their little mouths. You know I’m right!
Enter Anchor Uno pouches.
Four delicious flavours, colourful packaging, fun lids that are collectible and functional (more on that later) and the best part from a Mama’s point of view – Uno is the lowest sugar fruit flavoured kids yoghurt on the market! Boom! Tell me what responsible parent of 2016 doesn’t care about the sugar intake of their small people? It is specifically formulated for kids and is a great source of vitamins and minerals to support immunity and tummy health. A probiotic yoghurt with the dairy goodness of protein and calcium, as well as added iron, folate, Vitamin D and B6.
And though I may like my yoghurt with lumps and chunks of fruit, kids don’t seem to enjoy the bits so much, which is why these kid-specific blends have been created with the little people in mind. They contain just smooth, lump-free, delicious yoghurt that my kids think is truly fabulous! They get so excited when they see Anchor Uno pouches in the fridge and will collectively beg for them!
All of the above makes these pouches attractive to me as a parent, but the thing that the kids love the most (well second to sucking back a pouch that is) is the Click Cap lids and all the things they can create by clicking them together. Where they started out using the online tutorials to create little shapes, as time has gone on, they’ve gotten creative and played around doing their own things here and there. I love that this the packaging promotes creativity. In addition to being collectable, stackable and fun, Anchor Uno pouches are recyclable through Terracycle, for more information on how to recycle your pouches, click here
If you’re looking for a great option for your kids lunchboxes, I love these Uno pouches because they are malleable and able to be tucked into any shaped/sized lunch box. And at home, school or preschool, because they have a resealable lid, messes are minimised and you can always screw the cap back on if you’re full and haven’t finished, just pop it back in the fridge for the next time a yoghurt craving strikes!
